  Cuban dissident and human rights activist Juan Carlos Gonzalez Leyva was honored at a meeting with national Hispanic leaders in Washington. Gonzalez Leyva was imprisoned for over two years by the Castro regime for expressing views contrary to those of the Cuban government. He remains under constant surveillance by government agents.
